target可以用

我有在gentoo上實作成功iscsi initiator 及target
蠻不錯的

iSCSI 簡單說 就是以TCP/IP來傳送SCSI的command
可以用ethernet作出類似SAN的 storage network

目前好像沒有相關的ebuild 有空再來寫寫看

Initiator就是使用端的driver 可以看作一個scsi卡的driver 用來連iSCSI 的device
以下是linux opensource的driver
http://linux-iscsi.sourceforge.net/
M$也有release windows的driver

Target就是iSCSI的device 例如cisco就有出
我們也可以用
http ...

後來xttmgr --rebuild後
就可以看到細明體的big5字型了
但是 多了一堆 不知道是那來的東西

剛從新 emerge got 的xorg-x11-6.8.0.ebuild
結果 mingliu又不見了..
...夠詭異

改成6.7.0 變成這樣
有看到細明體了 但細明體沒有big5嗎？

所以 就是說 使用xorg 這樣子是正常的囉？
那只好用xfree ?
那邊還有 xfree的ebuild ?
因為portage裡好像沒了..

使用GOT的
xorg-x11-6.8.0.ebuild
fontconfig
xttmgr
freetype
...
安裝了幾個ttf 字型 像細明體之類的..
在kde,mozilla下都可以正常使用(應該是用fontconfig的關係吧)

但xlsfont 看不到細明體這類的字型 只有kc font
但 細明體的路徑 都已放進 xorg.conf 了
不知道是那邊沒注意到說...

拿來當測試程式的平台 沒遇過問題！

rsync 不一定要啟動 daemon
如果 你有用ssh的話
就可以不用啟動 例如：

我是師範體系啦 但Linux /FreeBSD可是從十多年前就在用了喔
以認識的學校 系統管理師而言 使用Linux/FreeBSD
也是蠻多的
而且大家是老師 主要是教學工作 而不是IT人員
學這些等於是花許多額外的時間的
而我則是大學時 學架bbs &管理學校網路系統 自學的
bbs://ccbbs.tmtc.edu.tw 這站可能有八年了吧
目前狀況還不錯 可見接手的學弟 也搞得不錯

I did
/etc/init.d/xfs start
but seems not working ...
and why start xfs?
I do not use xfs...

ps. I add usr/share/fonts/ttf/zh_TW to
/etc/X11/fs/config

ok I add

FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/ttf/zh_TW/"
in /etc/X11/XF86Config
then I restart X
but not working!
in /var/log/XFree86.0.log
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/ttf/zh_TW/, removing from list!

bkai00mp.ttf bsmi00lp.ttf encodings ...

I found that xlsfont do not contain any Big5/big5 fonts..

I've installed Mingliu / twmoefonts / arphic truetype fonts,
and ebuild with firefly's patch provide in this forum.
Using KDE 3.1 & Mozilla the display of chinese fonts is ok
but xcin failed..
