業界稱謂慣例

由於AMD64和Intel64基本上一致，很多軟硬體產品都使用一種不傾向任何一方的詞彙來表明它們對兩種架構的同時相容。出於這個目的，AMD對這種CPU架構的原始稱呼——「x86-64」被不時地使用，還有變體「x86_64」。其他公司如微軟和太陽電腦系統公司在行銷資料中使用「x64」作為對「x86-64」的縮寫。

許多作業系統及產品，尤其那些是在Intel進入這塊市場之前就引入「x86-64」支援的，使用「AMD64」或「amd64」同時指代AMD64和Intel64。

Gentoo 要安裝在 Intel Core i7 的 NB 上，能使用 AMD64 的光碟嗎？ 還是只能使用 x86 的光碟?

安裝時的 Stage3 ：「stage3-i686-20100216.tar.bz2」，應該是最新的。

無網路更新 Portage-Tree 該如何做呢？

「1163596683」應該是 TimeStamp，該如何換算目前時間呢？
是不是以基準時間 1970/01/01 00:00:00 起算？

確定把-mtune這個CFLAG拿掉就ok了!

Just try using install-x86-minimal-2005.0 to install in vmWare but CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gun". It was success. The directoty [/usr/i686-pc-linux-gun] was generated.

I had do [ln -s /usr/i386-pc-linux-gnu /usr/i586-pc-linux-gnu]. But bootstrap is still failed on the same error message.

And then I try to modify make.conf show as below:

找了網路上的資料，但沒有找到相近類似的訊息……
倒是網路上的文章都說是 gcc 有問題？
已做過：「重新自另一台 SYNC Server進行 SYNC」，「手動重新編譯 linux-header」，「設定 LDFLAGES=""」……但沒有用！

使用 install-x86-minimal-2005.0.iso 進行安裝

錯誤訊息：

測試過後再 post 結果

1.於 windows 下存入檔案(中文檔名)後在gentoo下看到亂碼,但修改檔名後檔案可正常開啟

3.在 kernel 中有看到 fat code-page 的設定,與這一個問題有關嗎?(gentoo-dev-sources)
