xfree-drm

一直聽說kernel2.6有包含radeon7500的drm支援

可是我要怎麼知道他被啟動了呢

以前用mandrake kernel2.4時
在lsmod裡會看到xdm-drm radeon之類的東西
可是現在用gentoo kernel2.6
執行lsmod就沒看到了

實在不知道自己的顯示卡是不是白白被放在電腦裡
我該怎麼做

果然我一直都沒啟動>"<
在module.autoload裡加入radeon後
XF86config打開dri gls 重開後
lsmod終於有了(只能怪自己文件沒看清楚)
可是...

kevwalker@gentoo kevwalker $ glxinfo | grep rendering
direct rendering: No

啊3D加速沒啟動啊
這該怎麼辦呢??

motherboard 晶片的驅動程式也要載入
下面是我自己 compile 2.6 kernel source 裡的選項

XF86Config 有 Load "dri" 和 Load "glx" 嗎?

研究了一整天
終於會動了
方法如下:
在/etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6加入
via-agp
agpgart
radeon

在XF86config裡加入

Load "glx"
Load "dri"

Section "Device"
Identifier "** ATI Radeon (generic) [radeon]"
Driver "radeon"
Option "AGPMode" "4"
Option "EnablePageFlip" "True"
VideoRam 65536

Section "DRI"
Mode 0666
EndSection


3D加速就被支援了
